We at Siemens Switzerland, Civil and National Security, are specialists in this area for defence and communication projects and have a record of successfully realising projects both in Switzerland and abroad.

As general contractor we take over responsibility for the system, the military know-how and successful partnership with the customer, in particular the Swiss Defence Procurement Agency or the Swiss Air Force. We co-ordinate the suppliers in all regions of Switzerland such as partners from industry, local installation companies and builders, and manage subprojects involving electronics, power supplies, software, quality management, qualification of technical specifications and factory and site acceptance tests (FAT and SAT). Our knowledge of the Swiss market enables us to use the best expertise available in Switzerland, if necessary incorporating these companies in a formal contractual partnership.

We ensure the constant flow of information between all the partners, especially yourselves and the Swiss customer, using mutually agreed reporting procedures. Currently our staff is managing projects in a number of languages, including French, German, Italian and English.
